In this video, I’ll go over some of the highlights of Looker release 21.10. Here’s what I’ll cover:
- Narrow search results in the Explore field picker’s search bar with search modifiers
- Looker now fully supports the Firebolt database dialect
- Incremental PDTs are out of beta Labs and now generally available
- You can now use materialized views to persist derived tables in Looker (supported on BigQuery and Redshift as of 21.10)
If you missed my last review on 21.8, you can check it out here.
Considering getting LookML Developer certified? You’re in luck - we’ve got a guide on that.
